Flower Care

Each flowers longevity varies from variety to variety.
While we try to ensure the freshest of quality and selecting those longer lasting flowers, some will still wilt before others.
Remove those flowers as they wilt to ensure the other flowers that are still full of life can live to their full potential.

  • Upon receiving your flowers delivery, remove all wrapping including wet wrap on the bottom. Trim 2-3cm off the bottom of your flowers at an angle, place into your vase with fresh tap water.

For optimum life of your flowers, please re-trim and change the water every 2 days. Keep out of direct sunlight and heaters.

Every flower has a different lifespan so please expect some flowers to perish quicker than others. We can not guarantee a lifespan on all our flowers, this also depends on the customers environment. You can expect your flowers to last 3-7 days.

  • Place bouquet out of direct sunlight. No need for maintenance, just the occasional dusting required.

  • Little to no maintenance needed. Keep out of direct sunlight. Add 1/2- 1.5 cup of tap water to the base or pour over the top of the arrangements avoiding direct contact with flowers to increase the life of the arrangement.

  • Place flowers out of direct sunlight, air con and heaters to ensure optimal longevity of your fresh florals.

Every 2 -3 days, change the water in your vase by removing the flowers, gathered at the binding point and tipping the water out.
Re-trim the stems 2-3cm at a slight angle and place back into the vase with fresh water.

Ensure there is no foliage/leaves in the vase as this enables bacteria growth and the stems are fully submerged.

  • Both Phalaenopsis Orchids and Hydrangea drink through their heads (top of flower), as well as it stems.

For optimum longevity spray the stems with a light mist every 3 days.
